Representing Chamber Members
In all sectors of business
The Chamber is an active participant on several committees. These committees act as an interface between industry practitioners, the government and their various departments and other stakeholders. These committees formulate policy, set industry guidelines and help to keep Chamber members up to date on changes in legislation as well as best practice.
The Chamber is represented on the following committees:
- Business Licensing Authority
- Conditions of Employment Board
- Cross Frontier Group
- Labour Advisory Board
- Main Street BID Committee
- Port Advisory Authority
- Small Business Board
- Tourism Advisory Council
In addition, the Chamber liaises with several government departments on a regular basis (Labour Inspectorate, HM Customs, Royal Gibraltar Police, Department of Transport, Environmental Agency among others) to ensure members’ interests are represented as equitably as possible.
